Project Child Save >

Drawing the Line to Keep Your Children Safe

Every year thousands of children are taken from their homes and sold into sexual slavery. Most of these children are teens or pre-teens, and few ever make it back to their families. The reason is simple – money. Slavery is a lucrative business, and the cost of rescuing abductees is beyond the means of most. Average families can’t afford these costs, so they remain helpless as their loss overshadows the rest of their lives. Ty will present the tragic facts surrounding this epidemic.  Parents will walk away from Ty’s presentation knowing how to protect their children from predators. They will also know what to do if something does happen; what to expect from governmental agencies, and to whom they can turn.

Ty Ritter has worked for years in kidnap recovery and kidnap prevention. To date, Ritter and his team have recovered over five hundred kidnap victims from countries all over the world. Over half of the victims were children taken by strangers and sold into sexual slavery.  He is also a man who, since he was a teen, has been obsessed with fighting injustice and has backed up his words with action.

Ty was born December 16 in Burbank, California. He is the youngest of three boys. His father was a rancher, as well as a camera technician and electrician who worked for most of the motion picture studios, but primarily for RKO and Republic. His mother was a nurse who became a housewife.  Ty grew up in the San Fernando Valley.  At the end of his junior year in high school, Ty’s father died and he helped support his mom. He worked for the International Yamaha Factory motorcycle team and Bud Ekins, a famous stuntman.
